Liveblogging BLOP

BLOP at Arnolfini, Bristol, 25 February. We’ll be there for you, covering as many of the day’s events as possible. 26 works in one day, starting at 11am: durational live art live blogging.

Here for you

Experimentica festival is over for this year, and for now, this blog has seized to be live (although, of course, it never quite was, always legging behind a minute or two…). It has become an archive, one of the many things that remain after five days of performances, workshops, discussions, a sleepover, some dancing and occasional karaoke. Many of these things we have covered, others we have missed, but throughout the festival we have tried: to be here for you. And we will be back: watch this space for future live art live blogging. And if you have any questions or comments, please get in touch.

thanks & comments

Thanks again to everybody who participated in last night’s launch event! And thanks to people who have left comments – we’d like to point out that you can also comment on the blog or the events that we’re covering via twitter – we have a live search for #liveartliveblog running alongside the blog so comments should be immediatley visible. We’ll start live blogging again at 6.30pm, maybe earlier. Hope you can join us.

Launch Event tomorrow!

The LIVE ART LIVE BLOG will be launched on 12 October at 19.00 in the media room at Chapter. The launch event will consist of a series of short presentations and performances by Lars Schmid from Vienna’s Institut für Alltagsforschung (Institute for Research of the Everyday), Sam Hasler/good cop bad cop, Kathryn Ashill, the squid project, and Daniel Ladnar. Simultaneously, the performances and presentations will of course also be blogged about – so, if you cannot make it to Cardiff, you can follow the event live here on this blog.
